About the Role
The Marketing Communications lead will spearhead the B2B marketing and communications agenda for JioStar’s Enterprise business, building a strong market narrative around the platform’s capabilities, partnerships, and client impact. The role will focus on strengthening JioStar’s positioning across advertisers, brands, agencies, platform partners, and the broader media and technology ecosystem.
Working closely with Sales, Business Development, and Pre Sales teams, the role will translate commercial priorities into clear and impactful communication strategies across PR, industry platforms, events, roadshows, thought leadership, and client engagement initiatives.
A key part of the mandate will be to create compelling platform and client success stories that support business growth, strengthen market credibility, and drive engagement with enterprise stakeholders globally.
Key Responsibilities
B2B Marketing & Communications Strategy
Lead the development and execution of integrated B2B marketing and communication strategies aligned to enterprise business goals. Build clear positioning and messaging for JioStar’s platform capabilities, solutions, and partnerships.
Brand Positioning & Thought Leadership
Drive thought leadership initiatives across industry platforms, media, and client ecosystems. Develop content including whitepapers, case studies, leadership articles, presentations, and market narratives that strengthen JioStar’s positioning in the enterprise and platform ecosystem.
PR & External Communications
Lead external communication efforts including media engagement, leadership profiling, partner announcements, and industry visibility initiatives. Build strong relationships with media, analysts, and relevant industry stakeholders.
Client & Partner Storytelling
Translate platform capabilities, client success stories, partnerships, and experience testimonials into compelling narratives and communication assets that support commercial conversations and business growth.
Events, Roadshows & Industry Engagement
Conceptualise and drive participation across industry events, leadership forums, roadshows, and partner engagements. Create impactful communication and engagement programs to strengthen enterprise relationships and market presence.
Sales & Business Enablement
Partner closely with Sales, Business Development, and Pre Sales teams to develop pitch narratives, marketing collateral, presentations, case studies, and communication assets that support client acquisition and revenue growth.
Go-to-Market Communications
Support new business launches, market expansion initiatives, and strategic partnerships through targeted communication and integrated marketing programs.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with teams across business, product, content, revenue, PR, and leadership to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment across all external communication initiatives.
Performance & Insights
Track the effectiveness of communication initiatives across campaigns, PR, events, and stakeholder engagement. Use insights and market feedback to continuously refine communication strategies and improve impact.
Skills & Attributes for Success
15+ years experience in B2B marketing communications, PR or brand strategy roles, preferably in media, OTT, technology or digital platforms.
Proven track record of developing brand stories and narratives in complex, multi-market environments, with significant experience leading global/international communications agendas.
Deep knowledge of PR and media relations, thought-leadership and event-led marketing including global industry platforms and forums.
Experience working in close collaboration with business, sales and leadership teams to drive commercial outcomes through communication.
Demonstrable ability to translate complex platform, product or technology propositions into compelling stories.
Ability to work in a fast paced, high growth environment with a strong execution focus.
MBA or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or related domains preferred.
