Job Description
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about audio to join Tapt Media as a Sales Executive in the Melbourne market. You’ll be the primary point of contact for media planners and buyers, responsible for delivering exceptional service and driving revenue outcomes for our network.

Home to the country’s most influential stations - 2GB, 3AW, 4BC, and 6PR - as well as a growing slate of podcast titles, we reach millions of Australians every week. With a focus on "Live and Local" content, we offer Australians and brands the intimacy and trust of radio, combined with the deep engagement and storytelling of podcasts and social.
Note on Ownership: Nine Radio is proud to have recently joined Tapt Media. While this recruitment process is being managed by Nine under a transition of services agreement, the successful candidate will be employed directly by Tapt Media.
Day to day you will:
Build market-leading brief responses and proactive opportunities across radio, streaming and podcasts.
Facilitate the sale of premium inventory including program sponsorships, sports integration (AFL, NRL and more), and spot packages.
Grow market share and revenue across your dedicated client base.
Build trusted, productive relationships with key agency contacts through exceptional communication, account management and client engagement.
Lead and mentor an Account Executive to ensure seamless campaign implementation.
Qualifications
What you'll bring:
Proven Experience:You’ve got a track record in sales, client-side marketing, or a media agency environment. (Audio sales experience? Even better).
Client-first Mindset, and the ability to problem solve within the context of the job.
Strategic Thinking:A thorough understanding of media systems, measurement metrics, and market trading conditions.
Passion and presentation flair:The ability to craft and deliver high-impact presentations to groups of all sizes.
Organisation:Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to hit deadlines while juggling tasks.
Technical proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, as well as Google Suite. Ability to run and analyse audience measurement and/or sales reporting also desirable.
