Job Description
Reporting to our Media Strategy, VP , as a Media Strategist, you are responsible for delivering innovative, effective and accountable strategies and plans to grow our clients’ business. You will sit at the intersection of data, technology and creativity, translating complex briefs into high-performing cross-channel digital media plans.
Your responsibilities will include:
Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of experience managing or planning multichannel media campaigns within an agency or a fast-paced client-side environment.
Audience Research: Proven experience using audience profiling and consumer intelligence tools (specifically GWI, YouGov or equivalent) to gather data, build target personas and directly inform media strategies.
Language Proficiency: Bilingual in English and Mandarin to successfully manage, communicate and deliver strategies for our existing portfolio of Mandarin-speaking clients.
Channel Expertise: Proven hands-on planning or buying experience in at least two major digital channels (e.g., Paid Social, Paid Search, Programmatic or digital video).
Analytical Aptitude: Familiarity with measurement attribution, Media Mix Modelling (MMM) and modern digital reporting dashboard solutions.
Strategic Understanding: A clear demonstrable understanding of media concepts, terms and how digital media strategically fits into a holistic, omni-channel marketing plan.
Radical Collaboration: Proven track record of working closely with cross-functional and diverse teams to achieve common business goals.
Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive and maintain high integrity under pressure in a fast-paced, rapidly shifting environment with an agile and proactive problem-solving mindset.
Measurement Frameworks: Outline and document comprehensive data collection plans that map the entire user journey, ensuring every critical conversion touchpoint is accounted for and accurately tracked.
Advanced Attribution: Hands-on experience evaluating attribution modelling techniques (such as DDA models, path to conversion or time lag analysis) using platforms like Campaign Manager, Google Analytics 360, SA360 or Facebook Attribution.
Audience Ecosystems: Familiarity with defining and managing first, second and third-party audiences across platforms such as Google, Facebook, LiveRamp, Salesforce or Segment to inform targeting and media flighting.
Test & Learn: Understanding of testing proposals to evaluate and refine media activity, including conversion lift studies and customer journey analysis.
Data & Visualisation: A strong comfort level with data, performance reporting and basic data visualisation tools to help turn campaign numbers into clear and digestible visual stories.
