Job Description
The Versant Digital Platforms & Ventures team is seeking a Brand Marketing Coordinator for the Fandango Brand Marketing team. The role is responsible for supporting the Fandango Brand Marketing team with tactical project management required across multiple campaigns and initiatives. Core responsibilities will include project coordination, brand and creative asset management, partner coordination, event and activation support, timeline tracking, presentation support, and an expectation to become deeply familiarized with the Fandango (ticketing), Fandango at Home (streaming), Fandango FanClub, and Rotten Tomatoes businesses. This role will work closely with the Brand Marketing team and leadership to help drive key brand campaigns forward, from briefing to execution, and will be essential in managing day-to-day coordination tasks. It will be essential to demonstrate a high level of organization, a detail-oriented approach, and a proactive, nimble attitude to ensure smooth collaboration within and across teams.
The ideal candidate is collaborative, curious, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role requires the ability to quickly pivot between priorities, discern what matters, and understand the nuances of the Fandango business and the role it plays within Versant. Uniquely, this is an opportunity for hands-on exposure to the Brand Marketing function and more broadly to the entertainment ecosystem across multiple industry touchpoints and stakeholders.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support for the Brand Marketing team in coordinating campaign deliverables, project milestones, and partner communications.
- Manage brand and creative asset repository, including asset delivery and organization.
- Help maintain topline brand measurement metrics/KPI tracking provided by Business Insights partners.
- Coordinate internal/external partner communications.
- Provide event and activation support.
- Build and maintain key project timeline trackers.
- Support social and owned channels as needed.
- Build presentation and pitch decks, integrating feedback as provided.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, manage agendas, manage note taking and document action items.
- General administrative tasks as needed, including file organization, data entry, and communications.
- Conduct research on competitive trends, industry news, and marketing activations to inform strategy.
- All other duties as defined by Brand Marketing leads.
Qualifications
Desired Qualifications:
- 1+ years of relevant experience in a marketing, entertainment, account coordination, or administrative support role; experience in media/entertainment or agency environment a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with a concentration in marketing, advertising or another related discipline.
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail and follow-through.
- An understanding of the theatrical film, OTT, streaming, digital content, and/or eCommerce market.
- Comfortable working with creative assets, digital marketing assets, and coordinating review/approval processes.
- Effective communicator with the ability to support cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Commercial, strategic, and technical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills plus impeccable attention to detail with ability to reliably deliver on plans.
- Team player with a positive attitude who thrives in a collaborative work environment – this is a zero ego team and the success of the team is as important as that of the individual.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize volume in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – primarily Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe Suite, and Keynote.
- CRM / project management systems (Salesforce, Asana, Atlassian) and proficiency in Miro and Canva a plus.
- A proactive, self-motivator who can take direction and produce tangible results.
- Ability to anticipate and accommodate needs, requests, and issues.
- Creative confidence and an ability to contribute ideas in a creative group atmosphere.
Additional Information:
- This position has been designated as hybrid and in office in Universal City, CA a minimum of three days per week.
- This position is eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and additional employee perks.
Salary Range: $55,000-$70,000
