Amazon is seeking a driven, savvy and creative communications professional to lead US Consumer communications campaigns for the Amazon Devices & Services business. In this role, you will manage programs targeting lifestyle media and influencers in support of brands across the Amazon Devices portfolio, including Alexa, Bee, Fire TV, Kindle, Ring, and more.
The successful candidate will have significant experience driving small to large-scale integrated consumer campaigns and creative news generation with a proven track record of strategic planning and delivery of measurable results. In this role, they will work directly with consumer and lifestyle media, influencers, and creators across earned and paid programs to reach customers on social and in press coverage. They will also be comfortable providing counsel and guidance to a wide variety of counterparts across multiple disciplines, juggling numerous priorities on tight deadlines, and being an organized and thoughtful leader. The Communications Manager role is hands-on and requires a team player willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.

They will be naturally curious to continuously think of fun and creative new ways to reach customers. As this is a cross-org role, this team member needs to be able to work collaboratively and productively with a matrix of communications and business partners, as well as external agencies.
Key job responsibilities
- Serve as a consumer communications/influencer expert with a demonstrated understanding of what resonates with a brand's audience
- Develop and execute integrated communications plans that align earned, owned, and paid channels, including communicating plans internally and securing leadership approvals
- Develop and own goals and performance metrics for programs – regularly evaluating what’s working and what’s not and shifting accordingly
- Manage relationships with a range of top-tier media contacts and influencers
- Provide counsel to cross-functional teams on communications/influencer strategies, approaches, and messaging
- Continuously ideate and innovate within the social space
- Help manage a third-party agency to support influencer activities
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
- 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Passion for social media, technology, pop culture, and trends
- High levels of creativity
- Ability to focus and prioritize the most impactful work in a busy environment with competitive priorities
- Experience leading in-person events or activations
- Experience working with and managing multiple stakeholders on cross-functional projects
- Relationships with top-tier media and influencers

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
