About the Role
The Manager Media and Engagement manages media relations and develops communication strategies. It creates compelling narratives, engages diverse audiences and ensures consistent messaging across various platforms.
The role is an Ongoing Full-time position.
Key knowledge, experience and essential requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and industry experience.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic communication plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
- Sound understanding of media dynamics and the ability to build relationships with journalists and media outlets.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and evaluate communication activities.
- Demonstrated ability to develop engaging and informative content for various media channels.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders and experience in influencing and motivating others.
- Politically neutral with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/third party campaigners.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record check result.
