In this role you will support the implementation and embedment of Group Risk initiatives aligned to the Group Risk Strategy and Plan. As a change and communication subject matter expert, you will achieve this through supporting the effective execution of Risk Operations and working with Risk subject matter experts
This is a permanent full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne) or Meanjin (Brisbane).
What You'll Do
- Work with Risk subject matter experts to design and deliver clear risk communications and pragmatic change interventions to embed Group Risk initiatives across the business.
- Coordinate and package communications and change activity to optimise how divisions receive, understand and embed Group Risk changes clear and timely actions and messages.
- Maintain and evolve Group Risk information and enablement assets, including the Risk Intelligence hub, playbooks, tools, templates and engagement materials.
- Enable and support self-service change delivery by educating Group Risk teams and providing change management and communications guidance, quality assurance and advice.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and drive continuous improvement, contributing to the Group Risk Delivery Plan and identifying opportunities to improve processes and operational effectiveness.
- Support Risk Operations’ planning, change and communications activities.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years communications and change management experience for programs/projects across technology, business transformation or cultural change
- Project management and implementation experience (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience supporting large or complex programs
- Proven professional approach to engaging and managing relationships with business stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in Financial Services, ideally General Insurance
- Knowledge of risk management principles
- Experience providing education, coaching or communications
- Experience producing and maintaining online content
- Experience developing templates for a range of change and communications activities
- Ability to document complex concepts in a clear, concise manner
- Ability to plan and self-direct work
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related discipline (desirable)
