JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that promote the Creators HQ mission, goals, and objectives. This role involves crafting clear messages, managing public relations, and enhancing the CHQ visibility through various channels.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Develop Communication Strategies: The Communications Specialist creates and executes comprehensive communication plans to support organizational initiatives.
· Content Creation: They are tasked with writing, editing, and producing high-quality content for various platforms, including websites, social media, newsletters, and press releases.
· Media Relations: The Specialist builds and maintains relationships with media outlets, responding to inquiries and facilitating interviews to enhance the CHQ public image.
· Crisis Communication: They prepare and implement crisis communication plans to address potential issues and protect CHQ reputation.
· Stakeholder Engagement: The role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment in messaging and promote engagement.
· Event Coordination: The Communications Specialist organizes events and promotional activities to effectively communicate the CHQ messages to target audiences.
· Monitoring and Evaluation: They track and analyze communication efforts and media coverage to assess effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
Qualifications:
· Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field is required.
· Experience: A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a similar role is preferred.
· Skills: Proficiency in writing, editing, and verbal communication is essential. The Specialist should possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
