We are seeking an Account Executive to join our growing Consumer Health and Wellness team! Consumer health or brand-related PR experience preferred.
Edelman’s Wellness team sits at the cross-section of Health and Brand, helping to evolve, promote, and protect some of the world’s most iconic and celebrated brands. Edelman’s Wellness team provides a wide array of communications services to a diversified portfolio of clients including major consumer healthcare companies, wellness brands, and non-profit & public health organizations. By employing innovative and thoughtful strategies, the Wellness team develops integrated brand campaigns that help our clients promote their brands, protect their reputations and license to operate, and influence public perceptions.
The Account Executive will have the ability to learn and deploy a wide variety of communications skills to a single, but diversified, industry that is of fundamental importance to individuals and society at large. Furthermore, employees will hone their communication skills alongside colleagues who have deep expertise at the intersection of brand, health, and public relations.
Responsibilities:
Understand key client information including business strategy, industry news, products and services, key customers, and competitors.
Support in the execution of brand activations such as press trips, media events, and earned mailers – this includes securing attendees or opt-ins, staffing events, and preparing recap reports.
Provide cross-team support including coordination of client status agendas and activity reports, attending meetings and conference calls, compiling media and competitor coverage audits, identifying relevant trends to craft and distribute pitches, coordinating team scheduling, and logistics.
Support reactive and proactive earned media relations outreach including but not limited to story-mining, development of pitches and media lists, media monitoring and tracking, staffing interviews, briefing spokespersons and more. Existing relationships with consumer media is a plus.
Support financial and administrative responsibilities in a timely manner as needed including setting up new project vendors, submitting vendor & partner invoices, and facilitating product shipments for events, individual sampling, mailers and more.

Basic Qualifications:
1-2 years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media, and publishing.

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
