The role
Most companies treat social as a posting schedule. We treat it as the surface area where our point of view shows up in market. The manifesto, the diagnostic, the architecture diagram, the events, the community. None of it lands without distribution. That's this job.
You'll own the Chapter 2 LinkedIn page, the new C2 Network Slack community, and the marketing of every C2 event. You'll set the channel strategy for two of our sister businesses (FTL and SGNL) and decide which new channels we open (Instagram, TikTok, anywhere else the audience is). You'll write, film, edit, ship, measure, and adjust. You'll work next to the founders, not three layers below them.
This is a builder role, not a maintainer one. If you want a content calendar handed to you, this isn't it. If you want to install the channel strategy from scratch and run it, keep reading.
What you'll own:
C2 events marketing
Pre-event promotion. Build the audience for every C2 event. Landing pages, email sequences, paid social, LinkedIn campaigns.
• Live capture. Be in the room or coordinate who is. Photos, video, soundbites, quotes.
• Post-event repurposing. Turn one event into ten or more assets: LinkedIn posts, carousels, video cuts, case studies, testimonial graphics. The work isn't done when the event ends.
• Pipeline integration. Work with sales to convert attendance into pipeline. Follow-up sequences, segmented nurture, named-account targeting.
C2 Network community
Moderation and contribution. Daily ownership of community channels. Welcome members, enforce guidelines, post regularly, keep the room warm.
Content contribution. Pull insights, quotes, and themes to create talking points.
Measurement. Tracking active members, posts per week, retention. Report monthly and optimise channels accordingly.
The Book, FTL and SGNL marketing support
• Cross-promotion where it makes sense, and the judgement to know when it doesn't
Chapter 2 LinkedIn page
Strategy and plan. What the page is for, who it talks to, what it never posts. Translate the Talent OS positioning into a content engine.
Execution. Daily posting. Campaign moments. Case study amplification. Event content capture and repurposing.
Paid layer. Brief and manage paid social spend: promoted posts, lead-gen campaigns, retargeting against site visitors.
New channels
Recommend. Make the case for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or anywhere else worth being. Bring data, not vibes.
Set up. Stand up the accounts, the templates, the workflow, the measurement.
Run. First 90 days of any new channel is on you to prove success.
Who we're looking for:
You've run owned channels at scale and have the receipts to show it. You know LinkedIn cold and have opinions about TikTok for B2B that aren't just "we should try it." You write well.
This is non-negotiable. Half of this job is words on a screen: captions, hooks, post copy, video scripts. If you can't write, the tools don't save you.
You can film and edit. Not at production-house level, but well enough to turn a 30-minute leadership chat into six posts by end of day. CapCut, Descript, Premiere, whatever gets it done.
You're commercially literate. You understand that social is a means, not an end.
Pipeline, brand recall, and inbound talent are the scoreboard. You work fast and in the moment.
