Wold Architects and Engineers, a full-service architecture and engineering firm, seeks to add a relationship-driven, detail-oriented Proposal Manager with strong project management skills and a focus on Government projects for a full-time position in our Minneapolis, Minnesota office.
The Proposal Manager will lead the development and coordination of proposals for government and public-sector architecture and engineering pursuits. As part of the marketing team, this role manages the full proposal process, including RFQs, RFPs, and interview materials, while collaborating with marketing coordinators and business development leaders to create compelling, compliant, client-focused submissions.

Your Role on the Team:
- Lead and manage the proposal process from kickoff through submission, including strategy, schedules, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure high-quality, compliant, and on-time responses.
- Develop, write, and edit compelling proposal content to clearly communicates the firm’s experience, strengths, and value, while maintaining brand consistency.
- Partner with Principals and Business Development leaders to plan and execute pursuit strategies aligned with firm targets and pipeline priorities.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to pipeline tracking, pursuit planning, and client-specific positioning.
- Maintain knowledge of markets, clients, competitors, and internal expertise to strengthen positioning and pursuit strategies.
- Oversee conference participation, industry events, and exhibit opportunities to strengthen brand visibility and client engagement.
- Continuously improve proposal processes, tools, and content to increase efficiency, quality, and win rates.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a sales or marketing role, preferably within the A/E/C industry.
- Experience mentoring or supporting the development of marketing team members.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and works well in a collaborative team environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects while prioritizing deadlines in a fast paced setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience using a CRM system (preferably Salesforce) to manage pipelines, track opportunities, and support forecasting.
- Familiarity within the architecture/engineering industry and proposal processes is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and Adobe Creative Suite.
