The Role
This role supports clear,engagingandtimelycommunications across theclient’scommunity through the coordination of social mediaplatforms, digitalcommunicationsand community-facing content. The role has responsibilityfor the preparation and publication of communications such asclient’s weekly, organicsocial media and our campus development communications.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media
- Coordinateclient’ssocial media platforms, including scheduling and publishingcontent.
- Develop engaging and audience-appropriate content across a range of platforms.
- Monitor and respond to messages,commentsand enquiries ina timelyand
- Source,prepareand resize imagery and multimedia content for digital platforms.
- Proactively seek content opportunities across the school community.
- Review competitor and sector activity to identify opportunities, emerging trends andareas for continuous improvement.
- Support the consistent presentation ofclient’sbrand,toneand visual identity acrosssocial media channels.
- Monitor and report on engagement analytics andidentifyopportunities to strengthenaudience reach and engagement.
- Development and implementation of an annual social media calendar.
Communications
- Coordinate the preparation and publication of the weeklyclient’sWeekly newsletter.
- Liaise with staff and key stakeholders to source and follow up content contributions.
- Prepare written content,imageryand supporting communications materials.
- Use Craft CMS to develop,formatand publish digital communications.
- Maintain awareness of activities,eventsand initiatives occurring across the school tosupporttimelyand relevant communications.
- Ensure communications areaccurate, engaging and aligned toaudience needs and timelines.
- Support website updates and ensure digital contentremainscurrent,accurateandaligned with brand standards.
- Assistwith promotion and coordination of school events,initiativesand communityengagement activities.
Project Communications
- Support communications relating to key strategic projects, including campustransition initiatives.
- Maintain awareness of project developments,milestonesand timelines throughongoing liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership,architects, projectmanagersand building consultants.
- Implement the School’s two-year communications plan, including developing anddelivering key messages toidentifiedaudiences at designated times throughappropriate communicationchannels.
- Assistin developing communications for a range of audiences, including staff,students, families,alumniand the broader community.
Skills and Experience:
- Excellentorganizationalskills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meetdeadlinesand work proactively.
- Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms, digitalcommunicationsand content management systems, preferably Craft CMS or similar platforms.
- Strong written communication, adapt writing style,editingand proofreading skills, witha high levelofattention to detail.
- Demonstrated capability in preparing and publishing digital content,imageryandcommunication materials.
- A strong eye for visual presentation, audienceengagementandidentifyingcontentopportunities.
