This internship offers valuable firsthand experience in marketing and community relations within the health care industry, as well as opportunities for professional development and networking.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to promote Hillsboro Health services and initiatives.
- Contribute to social media content creation and management.
- Support the coordination of community events and outreach programs to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the company website and intranet.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing and community relations director as needed.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable speaking in person and on the phone with others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
- Enthusiastic attitude toward learning new things and generating new ideas.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work independently and collaborate with a team.

Requirements
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma
- Completed at least one year of college courses with intent to study in the marketing, advertising, or communications field.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Prolonged, extensive, or considerable sitting, standing, and walking.
- Required to climb, balance, stoop, and kneel.
- Required to use arms, hands, and fingers for repetitive grasping, pulling, and pushing and feeling.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Works in a well-lit, climate controlled, office setting.
- Eyestrain and other conditions from use of computer screen may occur.
- May be exposed to communicable diseases, hypodermic/IV needles, unpleasant sights, odors, and materials.
- The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate.
CORPORATE COMPLIANCE

Understands the responsibilities related to compliance and knows how to contact the Corporate Compliance Officer should there be any instance of question or concern regarding fraud and/or abuse.
