Required Degree: BA or BFA in film and/or visual media studies/production, or a closely related field. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience:
- Two-plus (2+) years of professional experience in storyboarding; one-plus (1+) years of university-teaching experience is preferred
- We are also interested in reviewing applications from candidates who have accomplished notable teaching outside of university settings
- Demonstrable understanding of and experience in storyboarding for live action Film, TV, and Media
- Knowledge of TV, Film, and Media sets best practices
- Understanding of storyboarding’s usage anywhere in the production workflow pipeline
- Understanding of similar usage in Animation also helpful
Duties/Expectations:
- Teach TMA 384 Practicum: Cinematic Skills - Storyboarding, Mondays 5-6:50PM
- We expect you to teach following a provided syllabus, but you may submit your own for consideration
- You will be expected to manage the classroom as well as the digital learning management system (Learning Suite, etc.) connected to the class
- We expect you to meet with students outside of classes as needed
