Position Title: Strategic Communications & Engagement SME
Location: Chantilly, VA
Clearance Requirement: Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility

OMNI Consulting Solutions is seeking a Strategic Communications & Engagement Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide executive‑level communications, stakeholder engagement, organizational messaging, and leadership support to the Space-Based Sensing and Targeting (SBST) Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Office. This role requires exceptional communication acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate confidently in high‑visibility headquarters environments.
Key Responsibilities
Draft written and visual communication materials tailored to diverse internal and external audiences.
Develop communication plans in coordination with leadership and internal stakeholders.
Prepare executive briefings, talking points, reports, presentations, and messaging products.
Assemble, review, and provide guidance on electronic Staff Summary Sheet (SSS) packages.
Communicate effectively with offices and stakeholders across all leadership levels.
Support Program Management Reviews, All Calls, senior‑leader meetings, and other high‑level engagements.
Advise leadership on the status of communication products, deliverables, and engagement actions.
Coordinate cross‑functional communication activities among government, military, contractor, and mission partner organizations.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, Science, Technology, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
15+ years of experience supporting Federal Government acquisition organizations.
Strong strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to operate effectively in fast‑paced, high‑visibility environments.
Desired Qualifications
At least 5 years of recent experience supporting space programs.
Experience supporting U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command, NRO, SDA, or other national security space organizations.
Experience supporting senior executives, Program Executive Officers (PEOs), or headquarters‑level environments.
