Position Summary: Responsible for leading demand generation activities and deliver the liquidation goals as per the business plan
Location: Sangli, Maharashtra
The Role (daily responsibilities)
Accountable for effective commercialization launch of new products following the new launch process and responsible for revenue generation.
Develops annual goals and objectives for Demand Generation Team
Prepares the resource plan, budget plan for the Region by closely working with Sales, Marketing & Commercial Effectiveness Leadership
Accountable for maintaining and improving productivity levels of field resources and critical demand generation activities
Develops the Policy Documents, broad guidelines for Demand Generation Team, Marketing Agencies.
Responsible for Budget Management & ensuring that Demand Generation team is delivering the goals within the budget.
Work Closely with strategic and Brand Managers for Market Segmentation, Portfolio Positioning & Crop wise, Product Wise Strategy
Work Closely with Zonal Marketing Managers AMM’s and Sales Team for effective utilization for resources and activity planning
Accountable for adoption of strategic initiatives like Market Unit Activity Planning and Tracking, Large Plot Demos (New Commercialization -2 and 01 Year), Demo Plots, Online training module, tools adoption.
Systematically work for developing team.
The Candidate (requirements)
BSc. or MSc in agriculture. MBA in Marketing is desirable
7-8 years of relevant experience in Sales and Marketing in Agrochemical/Crop protection Industry
Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
Experience in handling team
Good consumer and market insights
Through knowledge of crop & Pest Dynamics
Good knowledge of MS Office Etc
Language preference – Marathi, Hindi
Ability to work with and through other teams/functions ie Sales, Marketing, R&D and Finance
Very good understanding of customer CTQs and knowledge of Sugarcane, Grapes and Pomegranate.
Creative mind and analytical skills
Ability to relate to different audiences internal and external including Distributors, Farmers and Technical community.
