2. Your Role in VT MarketsAs a Performance Marketing Specialist (SEM), you will be part of the Global Marketing COE based in Singapore, reporting to the Head of Digital Growth. In this role, you will focus on planning, executing, optimising, and scaling paid search campaigns across major media platforms, with a strong emphasis on Google Search / Google Ads, across multiple regional markets. You will be responsible for driving qualified traffic, improving conversion efficiency, and managing SEM campaigns under strict platform policies and regulatory constraints — playing a critical role in user acquisition for our trading platform.
3. Your Responsibilities- Plan, launch, manage, and optimise SEM campaigns for CFD trading products across major search platforms, especially Google Ads.
- Own the full SEM campaign lifecycle, including keyword research, account structure, ad copy testing, landing page coordination, bid strategy, budget allocation, and performance optimisation.
- Improve key acquisition metrics including CTR, CVR, CPA, CPL, FTD, deposit conversion, and ROI.
- Develop SEM strategies for highly regulated financial products, taking into account platform policies, ad restrictions, regional compliance requirements, and account stability.
- Monitor campaign performance on a daily basis and identify opportunities to improve traffic quality, conversion rate, and cost efficiency.
- Work closely with compliance, product, creative, analytics, and operations teams to ensure campaigns are both performance-driven and policy-aware.
- Analyse search terms, competitor activity, user intent, and market trends to continuously improve campaign coverage and efficiency.
- Conduct A/B testing on ad copy, landing pages, keyword segmentation, bidding strategies, and audience signals.
- Troubleshoot campaign delivery issues, ad disapprovals, policy restrictions, account limitations, and other media platform challenges.
- Build regular performance reports and provide actionable insights to support business growth.
4. What Success Looks Like- SEM campaigns are strategically structured and consistently optimised across regions, with account stability maintained under platform policies and regulatory constraints.
- Acquisition efficiency improves across key metrics — from click through to registration, KYC, deposit, and first trade — reflecting a scalable and performance-driven approach to user acquisition.
- Regular performance reporting delivers clear, actionable insights that inform business decisions and support continued regional growth.
5. What Makes You a Great FitJob Experience & Education- At least 3 years of hands-on SEM / paid search experience, preferably in FinTech, online trading, CFD, forex, crypto, brokerage, payments, or other financial services.
- Proven track record of managing SEM campaigns in regulated, restricted, or compliance-sensitive industries.
- Experience running campaigns across multiple markets or regions.
Technical & Functional Skills- Strong experience with Google Ads, especially Search campaigns; experience with other major search platforms is a plus.
- Strong understanding of keyword strategy, campaign structure, bidding models, quality score, ad relevance, landing page experience, and conversion tracking.
- Familiarity with attribution and analytics tools such as AppsFlyer, GA4, Firebase, Google Tag Manager, or internal BI systems.
Soft Skills- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve SEM performance issues, including low impression volume, high CPC, low conversion rate, ad disapproval, and unstable campaign delivery.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment with good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
