The Amazon Advertising User Experience (AUX) team is seeking a Senior Design Program Manager to build and optimize programs that accelerate access to advertiser and internal customer feedback, strengthen cross-organizational AI-based initiatives, and effectively prioritize resources to maximize advertiser impact. In this role, you are uniquely positioned to build relationships and deliver strategic work with leaders across all levels in UX Design, UX Research, Engineering, Product Management, Legal, Finance, and Voice of Customer (VOC) teams.
Key job responsibilities
• Work with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Design, Writing, Research, Finance, and Legal to develop long-term, durable operating procedures.
• Act as the central point of contact for Advertiser-facing AI experience development, UX Writing prioritization and Design System scaling to influence org wide roadmaps and feature improvements to ensure timely delivery.
• Work in tandem with Senior and Principal User Experience Designers and Writers on short- and long-term business planning.
• Represent, verbally and in writing, complex decisions, trade-offs, and potential solutions clearly to leaders to help them understand the decisions that need to be made and what the options are based on data.
• Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational and project reporting to track progress, manage escalations, and continuously drive towards delivery of program priorities. Regularly share program updates with organization leaders.
• Create business cases and rationale to influence product roadmap planning.

The Advertiser UX (AUX) team serves as the strategic design center for Amazon Ads, designing end-to-end experiences for advertisers, publishers, partners, and internal account teams across the Ads Console, PubTech, and Sales organizations. Our vision is to enable advertisers of all sizes to effortlessly harness advertising potential through intuitive, intelligent, and unified experiences. Operating across multiple product teams, AUX carries a view of our advertisers that no single domain holds, enabling us to look around corners, inform the creation of bar-raising experiences, and connect the quality of those experiences to the real value they deliver.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience understanding needs of business and end customers and translating them into right solutions
- Experience gathering and analyzing large amounts of data and delivering continuous business improvements
- 7+ years' program management experience
- 3+ years’ experience managing design-related programs/projects (UX, UI, CX, visual design, user research)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (agile to waterfall)
- Experience working and contributing to project playbooks, building schedules, managing issues/risks, establishing communication plans and stakeholder management
- Experience escalating issues, anticipating and making trade-offs, balance the business need versus other constraints and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
