Your New Role
The Public Relations Lead is a key member of the team responsible for leading and coordinating public relations campaigns, consumer media engagement and content development in the Corporate Affairs area.
This 3-month role will help position, promote and protect the Fund’s reputation in earned and owned channels with a particular focus on consumer media.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Support the development and execution of public relations strategies and plans to position and promote the Fund through consumer media, owned and other channels.
- Build and enhance relationships with key consumer media representatives to support the successful execution of the Fund’s public relations and consumer media activity.
- Monitor the consumer media landscape to support the provision of insights to the Chief Strategy Officer, Head of Corporate Affairs and the Head of Corporate Affairs and Public Relations, to inform the Fund’s positioning on key issues and help identify opportunities to enhance the Fund’s reputation through public relations activity and consumer media engagement.
- Support the execution of the Corporate Affairs & Public Relations content plan, ensuring it is consistent with the Fund’s broader corporate communications strategy, compliant, and is in line with the Fund’s corporate narratives and messaging.
- Ensure Corporate Affairs & Public Relations content, including but not limited to website, social media, and other digital content is accurate, up-to-date and compliant with the Fund’s regulatory obligations and internal guidelines.
- Ensure risk is managed in accordance with the Fund’s Risk Management Framework including risk identification and management, risk profiling, risk reporting and incident management.
- Where appropriate, ensure third party suppliers and service providers are managed in accordance with the Fund’s Supplier Relationship Management Framework.
- Work with service providers and internal stakeholders to secure strong governance arrangements, including reporting and service standard frameworks.
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant public relations experience preferably in an agency setting or in similar in-house role in a highly regulated industry.
- Demonstrated experience executing public relations activity that achieves measurable outcomes and drives engagement with consumers.
- Proven stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
- Demonstrated experience developing compelling and effective digital content in a highly regulated environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and engage positively with colleagues.
