About the Role
As an Account Manager, you are responsible for fostering strong client relationships, delivering marketing results, and identifying growth opportunities. You serve as the main day-to-day contact and strategic partner for a book of business. Top-tier Account Managers at Oozle Media act as an extension of the client's team, ensuring high satisfaction, proactive communication, and continuous marketing success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Communication & Relationship Management
- Act as the main day-to-day contact for clients, ensuring their satisfaction, success, and trust in Oozle Media.
- Anticipate client questions and send proactive updates so clients never have to chase you for information. Maintain strict response-time SLAs (Service Level Agreements) to ensure clients always feel prioritized.
- Establish and maintain a schedule for regular (e.g., monthly) client check-ins and performance review meetings.
- Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business, industry, competitors, and pain points to provide strategic insights rather than just status updates.
- Proactively identify at-risk accounts, handle escalations calmly, and bring solutions to the table to maintain high client retention.
Strategy, Reporting & Execution
- Deliver monthly performance reports on time ensuring clients are consistently aware of campaign results and ROI.
- Establish KPIs, track progress, and brainstorm innovative strategies to ensure marketing success.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (designers, editors, developers) to execute effective campaigns. Ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
- Foster long-term relationships by identifying opportunities for client expansion, upsells, and cross-sells (e.g., suggesting new platforms like TikTok or expanding an SEO plan with PPC).
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field, experience in lieu of formal education is considered.
- 2–3 years in digital marketing, client services, or paid search.
- Proficiency in Google products (Gmail, Docs, Drive) and knowledge of WordPress.
- Familiarity with Google Ads and social ad platforms (Meta, TikTok, etc.) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of marketing channels, including social media, direct mail, email, paid search, and SEO
- Exceptional communication and project management skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello) to coordinate multiple clients and internal teams effectively.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations gracefully.
- Certifications in relevant marketing tools or platforms (e.g., Google Ads, HubSpot, or Salesforce)
