Mission
As a Senior Product Marketer at Root, your mission is to translate Root's technical capability into clear commercial language, owning the messaging, positioning, and enablement materials that help prospects and clients understand what Root does and why it's the right choice. You'll work closely with the Sales, Solutions, Client Success and Product teams to stay close to client reality and our product, and with leadership to ensure our external voice reflects the strategic direction of the product and business.
To do this well, you'll need to balance precision with accessibility, making complex technology and infrastructure feel intuitive without oversimplifying it, and maintain a strong point of view on how Root should be positioned in a competitive and fast-moving market.

AI use & legibility
At Root, we use AI to amplify human capability. You are expected to make effective use of AI to reduce low-value effort and create more time for the work that benefits most from human judgment, creativity, expertise, and relationships.
AI is not a substitute for critical thinking, ownership, or accountability. You are expected to apply sound judgment, verify outputs, and remain responsible for the quality of your work and decisions.
As Root builds an increasingly AI-legible organisation, everyone is expected to contribute through effective documentation, knowledge-sharing, and context management that make information easier for both people and AI to discover, understand, and use.
