About the Role:TodayTix is on a mission to find a seat for everyone. We connect audiences to live entertainment experiences they'll love, making it easier, faster, and more joyful to discover and buy tickets — with a particular focus on theatre and the performing arts. We are part of MARI — an exciting, growing, global live events and experiences company — whose portfolio includes the Mutua Madrid Open, one of the world's premier ATP and WTA tennis tournaments. Madrid joins London, New York, Sydney, and beyond as TodayTix's next chapter — and this role is at the heart of building it.
We're seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to own TodayTix’s marketing efforts in Madrid as we build our first Spanish-language market from the ground up. You will set the strategy for Madrid, develop and execute campaigns across TTG's full range of channels and products, and work hand-in-hand with our Partnerships team to amplify the supply they're signing. You'll collaborate closely with TTG's global CRM and Growth marketing teams to drive revenue, and serve as the connective tissue between what's happening on the ground in Madrid and the broader TTG marketing engine.
This role is for a sharp, creative operator who knows the Madrid performing arts and live entertainment landscape, understands what moves Spanish audiences, and is energised by the challenge of building something from scratch in a city where TTG is brand new.
Please note: This is a full-time position and qualified candidates must be based in the greater Madrid area. The salary range for this role is €60,000 to €80,000 per year.
What Success Looks Like:
- Campaign performance: Build and execute monthly campaign plans that hit TTG's daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals across all Madrid supply — exploiting the full range of products, channels, and partners
- Partner marketing: Develop and deliver standout promotional campaigns for Madrid partners that drive ticket revenue and partner satisfaction, utilising owned, earned, and paid media
- Multi-show campaigns: Deliver 2 multi-show campaigns in Year 1, in close coordination with the Madrid Partnerships Manager and global Merchandising team
- Merchandising: Ensure Madrid supply is effectively and compellingly merchandised across TTG's channels, with a continuous focus on conversion
- Market presence: Establish TTG's marketing voice in Madrid — building brand awareness and audience trust in a market where we are starting from zero
What You'll Do:
- Build monthly campaign plans designed to achieve TTG's sales goals across Madrid, making full use of available product, channels, and partners — in close collaboration with the Madrid Partnerships Manager and with support from the President of TodayTix
- Develop thoughtful, industry-leading campaign plans for Madrid partners, working to achieve all revenue objectives — including ticket revenue and media sales — while delivering on individual show and partner goals
- Work with the Partnerships team and internal and external stakeholders to develop successful promotional campaigns, utilising owned, earned, and paid media
- Oversee all aspects of show campaign activity for Madrid titles, ensuring activity is created, approved, and executed on time, with a focus on driving traffic, conversion, and sales
- Ensure Madrid supply is effectively merchandised across TTG channels, working continuously on impact and conversion
- Collaborate with TTG's global CRM and Growth marketing teams to reach revenue targets through impactful, coordinated campaigns
- Serve as TTG's on-the-ground marketing expert in Madrid — tracking the competitive landscape, programming calendar, and audience trends, and surfacing insights and recommendations to leadership
- Represent TTG externally at industry events, cultural forums, and partner meetings in Madrid, building brand credibility in the Spanish market
We're Looking for Someone With:
- 5+ years of experience in campaign marketing, show marketing, or entertainment marketing — with a strong understanding of the Madrid performing arts, live entertainment, and/or sports landscape
- Experience operating as a sole marketer or first marketing hire — you know how to build structure, prioritise without a playbook, and deliver results without a team around you
- Native Spanish speaker with full professional fluency in English — written and verbal, with the ability to build authentic relationships and execute campaigns that resonate with Spanish audiences
- A track record of building and executing high-volume marketing campaigns that drive measurable results across multiple channels
- Experience deploying a growing paid marketing budget, with experience in media buying and optimization across digital channels, affiliate and out of home marketing
- Strong commercial instincts: you understand what moves audiences, can identify what a partner needs, and know how to structure a campaign that serves both
- A natural collaborator who can work cross-functionally — bridging local market knowledge with global team priorities across time zones (London, US)
- Resourcefulness and comfort operating in an ambiguous, build-it-as-you-go environment — you're energised by being first in a market, not daunted by it
- Clear, confident communication: you can represent TTG well in a room, synthesise information into crisp stakeholder updates, and pitch campaign ideas with conviction
- Genuine passion for theatre, live performance, and cultural experiences — and a deep understanding of the role the arts play in Madrid's city life
- Background in arts marketing, theatrical marketing, or live entertainment is strongly preferred
