Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager

Position Overview
F45 Training Ventura is seeking a Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager to lead both content creation and full-funnel digital marketing execution. This role is responsible for building and managing our online presence while driving qualified leads, trial sign-ups, and membership conversions across all major platforms.
This is a hands-on + strategic role: you will create content, launch campaigns, manage ad accounts, and analyze performance to continuously improve results.
Core Responsibilities
1. Content Creation & Production
- Capture high-quality photo/video content during live classes, events, and member experiences
- Execute in-studio and on-location shoots (beach workouts, events, partnerships)
- Produce short-form video (Reels, Stories, Ads) aligned with F45 branding
- Direct coaches/members to ensure high-performing content
2. Social Media Management (Organic)
- Create and manage Instagram & Facebook accounts (Meta ecosystem)
- Plan and execute a weekly/monthly content calendar
- Write high-converting captions, hooks, and CTAs
- Manage DMs, comments, and engagement
- Stay current on trends, formats, and algorithm shifts
3. Paid Advertising & Account Management (Core Digital Marketing Function)

Set up, manage, and optimize ad accounts across:
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram Ads Manager)
- Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube as applicable)
- Microsoft/Bing Ads
- Launch and manage campaigns focused on:
- Lead generation (trial offers)
- Retargeting and remarketing
- Local awareness and traffic
4. Funnel & Lead Generation Strategy
- Build and optimize marketing funnels:
- Ad → Landing Page → Lead → Trial → Membership
- Improve conversion rates at each stage
- Align campaigns with studio offers (e.g., intro trials, challenges, events)
- Implement retargeting strategies across platforms
5. Analytics, Tracking & Reporting
- Set up and manage tracking systems:
- Meta Pixel
- Google Analytics
- Conversion tracking (forms, calls, bookings)
- Monitor and report on key KPIs:
- Cost per lead (CPL)
- Cost per acquisition (CPA)
- Conversion rates (lead → trial → member)
- ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)
- Provide weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights
- Use data to refine campaigns, targeting, and creative direction
6. Brand & Content Optimization
- Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity
- Build and organize a content library for ads and organic use
- Continuously improve content based on performance data
7. Event & Local Marketing Support
- Promote studio events, challenges, and partnerships
- Capture and amplify community-driven content
- Support local collaborations and in-studio activations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in digital marketing + paid ads management
- Hands-on experience with:
- Meta Ads Manager
- Google Ads
- Microsoft/Bing Ads
- Strong content creation and video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, etc.)
- Understanding of lead generation funnels and conversion optimization
- Experience with analytics tools and performance tracking
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously
Compensation & Structure
- This is a fulltime staff position
- Base hourly rate of $25-$30 (based on experience)
- Flexible schedule (in-studio content + remote marketing work)
