Job Description
The Employee Communications Coordinator plays an important role in the Employee Culture and Communications team’s day-to-day operations. This position helps keep employee information clear, current, and moving. From daily pre-shift messaging to digital screens and intranet updates, this role focuses on execution and organization in a fast-paced environment.
Core Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare the daily pre-shift communications template, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timeliness, and route for review and approval.
- Update and maintain employee communications screens in back-of-house areas to ensure content is current, relevant, and aligned across the property.
- Post, update, and maintain content on the employee intranet, regularly reviewing existing content to ensure information remains accurate and up to date.
- Track, organize, and maintain employee communications calendars, content plans, and working files.
- Coordinate the production and distribution of printed materials by preparing files, working with internal print partners or vendors, and ensuring materials are placed and distributed as needed.
- Intake requests from internal partners and help coordinate timelines, materials, and next steps to support employee communications needs.
- Schedule employee photo shoots and assist with basic coordination needs related to employee storytelling and content creation.
- Provide executional support for employee events, recognition programs, and culture initiatives as needed, in partnership with the broader team.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, leaders, and internal partners, both in writing and verbally.
- Balance multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Follow all Wynn Las Vegas values, department standards, internal policies, and applicable federal and state laws.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Recognize and maintain clean, brand-aligned formatting across documents and templates.
Qualifications
- Strong written communication skills with a solid grasp of grammar, clarity, and professional tone
- Comfortable writing and editing short-form employee-facing content; able to support longer-form content as needed
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple requests and details at the same time
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and time-management skills
- Able to work collaboratively and respond thoughtfully to the needs of internal partners
- Understands the importance of confidentiality when handling employee information
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience
- General computer proficiency required, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Asana or other project management tools preferred but not required
Work Requirements
- Must be eighteen years old or older
- Office-based role with regular interaction in back-of-house environments
- Occasional support for events or operational needs require schedule flexibility
Language Skills
- Fluency in English required; second language a plus
- Ability to read, write, and interpret business communications, policies, and procedural documents
- Ability to communicate information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings
