We are seeking a creative, organized, and strategic Marketing & Communications Coordinator to oversee and execute the hospital’s marketing efforts across digital, community, print, and internal communication channels.
This role is ideal for someone who is both hands-on and strategic. The Marketing Coordinator will lead the direction of the hospital’s marketing initiatives, oversee marketing operations, manage vendors and campaigns, support community engagement, and help grow patient awareness across all hospital service lines.
Position Summary:
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will oversee the hospital’s marketing platforms, campaigns, communications, community outreach initiatives, print production, and promotional efforts while helping guide the overall direction of the marketing department. The coordinator will oversee marketing efforts for White Rock Medical Center, the Emergency Room, and the Multi-Specialty Clinic while ensuring consistent branding, patient engagement, and community visibility across all service lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Department Oversight
• Assist in developing and executing quarterly and annual marketing plans
• Help oversee the hospital’s overall marketing initiatives, branding, and communication efforts
• Create and maintain monthly social media and marketing content calendars
• Maintain a live shared marketing calendar and project management tracker accessible to leadership
• Create and maintain live reports, task trackers, and ongoing marketing progress updates
• Present marketing ideas, campaign plans, department needs, and long-term growth opportunities
• Research and help implement CRM systems and marketing tools
• Coordinate company culture initiatives, employee engagement campaigns, and hospital celebrations
• Assist hospital leadership and staff with marketing-related projects and communication needs
• Prepare quarterly marketing progress reports
Digital Marketing & Content Creation
• Create, schedule, and manage content across websites, social media, newsletters, blogs, and email campaigns
• Oversee Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profiles
• Manage marketing efforts for the hospital, ER, and Multi-Specialty Clinic
• Publish weekly Google Business Profile posts
• Maintain and optimize Google Business Profiles for local SEO and patient engagement
• Create SEO-focused content
• Write and publish 1–2 monthly blogs
• Upload website news articles, newsletters, and updates weekly
• Design flyers, graphics, newsletters, and communication materials using Canva and other tools
• Coordinate photography, video, graphics, and promotional campaigns
• Assist with Google Ads, digital advertising, and SEO optimization
• Maintain marketing software, CRM systems, and email platforms
Community Outreach & Event Representation
• Coordinate and attend community outreach initiatives, networking events, and health fairs
• Represent White Rock Medical Center at East Dallas Chamber events
• Set up and manage hospital booths at events
• Engage with booth visitors and promote hospital services
• Build relationships with event coordinators, business owners, and community partners
• Strengthen relationships with Dallas College, UNT Dallas, and local organizations
• Assist with partnership development opportunities
Reputation Management & Analytics
• Monitor and manage online reviews and reputation management platforms
• Request patient reviews through Birdeye and related tools
• Respond to patient reviews and improve engagement
• Track campaign performance and patient engagement metrics
• Prepare quarterly analytics reports for Meta, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, and additional channels
• Report on marketing impact, patient growth, and outreach success
Print Production, Swag & Vendor Coordination
• Design and coordinate print materials including brochures, banners, signage, and outreach materials
• Coordinate branded merchandise and hospital swag
• Manage swag inventory and promotional material stock
• Research and maintain relationships with vendors and printers
• Compare vendor pricing and identify cost-effective solutions
• Coordinate production timelines and approvals
• Assist with staying within marketing budgets
Communications & Internal Engagement
• Develop newsletters, staff updates, announcements, and internal communications
• Collaborate with departments to gather stories and updates
• Support PR and community engagement initiatives
• Assist with employee-focused marketing materials and culture campaigns
Internship & Vendor Coordination
• Oversee marketing interns and delegate projects
• Coordinate with vendors, advertisers, printers, and media partners
• Assist with campaign and event coordination
Compliance & Brand Standards
• Ensure all marketing materials remain HIPAA-compliant
• Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all channels
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, healthcare marketing, nonprofit marketing, or related industries
• Strong understanding of social media marketing, branding, digital campaigns, print coordination, and community outreach
• Experience with Canva, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, or similar platforms
• Experience with Birdeye preferred
• Strong writing, editing, organization, vendor coordination, and project management skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines
• Comfortable presenting ideas, reporting metrics, and contributing to strategic planning discussions
• Portfolio or examples of past work preferred
Preferred Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, healthcare marketing, nonprofit marketing, or related industries
