The role of Communications and Corporate Affairs is to take an active lead in shaping, promoting and protecting the reputation of our firm, supporting our ambition to be the most trusted and trustworthy professional services firm, creating the conditions for long-term, profitable growth. Reporting to the Managing Director, Audit Strategic & Operations, the Senior Manager, Audit Communications has a strong reputation and industry knowledge as a trusted advisor to KPMG’s National Audit Functional leadership teams. This role is accountable for identifying, developing, and leveraging strategic communications content internally and externally to highlight the firm’s services capabilities, to enhance KPMG’s reputation in the Canadian business community and contribute to revenue growth.

What you will do- Works with Audit and Industry Marketing Directors to identify opportunities for creating strategic, results-oriented National communication strategies based on key issues arising internally and externally aligned with the firm’s business and strategic priorities.
- Ensures that proposed communications initiatives meet the needs of the business and tests of marketplace and media relevance.
- Supervises the work of internal and contract writers, editors on National projects.
- Work with the polling insights and geographic marketing teams to build internal client insights content in support of growth and trust objectives
- Collaborate with colleagues and leaders across the organization to understand business developments, build thoughtful messaging and execute flawlessly.
- Deliver exceptional service to stakeholders through high-quality work, strategic planning and attention to detail.
- Responsible for managing the impact of the communications strategy and execution, ensure consistent service delivery, identify areas to increase value, mitigate issues, and bring solutions that align with the vision of the Advisory leadership team.
- Keep a pulse on industry trends and translate that knowledge into messages that align to business priorities.

What you bring to the role- 10+ years of experience in communications roles, including internal communications and media relations experience in a large organization.
- Experience in a team environment, working collaboratively with other key marketing/communication functions (brand, creative services, media relations, web development.) and ability to spot and leverage synergies across teams.
- Experience in managing complex projects and providing direction to project teams.
- Experience working directly with executive-level stakeholders on firmwide communications plans.
- Excellent networking skills and strong executive presence with the ability to influence decisions.
- Excellent writing and communications skills with proven ability to use communications as a creative tool to engage people.
- Proven experience capturing and translating leadership voices in an engaging manner.
- Collaborative and consultative working approach
- Desire to understand our business to successfully navigate our matrixed environment and support KPMG’s priorities, values, culture and goals.

KPMG Ontario Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $104,000 to $156,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
