WHO WE LOOK FOR 🦄
We are looking for a Brand & Executive Communications Associate for our Brand & Communications Team.
This is not a typical junior communications role. We are looking for an exceptional early-career professional to join our Brand & Communications team and work in direct support of the CEO’s external positioning, reporting to the Brand & Communications Director.
Your primary focus will be the CEO’s thought leadership and public presence: drafting content for his channels, preparing materials for speaking engagements, and helping identify visibility opportunities. Along the way, you will see the company from a vantage point that very few people at your level ever get.
You’ll start with hands-on execution and progressively take on broader responsibilities as you develop your understanding of the business and earn trust.
This is a 12-month position designed with a clear intent: to develop a high-potential talent who, after a year of deep immersion, will transition into a permanent role within the organization — in areas such as brand & communications, product marketing or business operations, depending on your strengths and interests.
WHAT YOU WILL DO 🏄
- CEO positioning & thought leadership: Draft LinkedIn posts, talking points, and presentation materials for the CEO's external communications, working closely with the Brand & Communications Director who sets the strategy and reviews all output. In doing so, you’ll develop a deep understanding of how a CEO communicates, thinks about positioning, and engages with the market. Proactively research and flag speaking opportunities, media moments, and visibility initiatives.
- Content execution: Translate existing brand positioning and narratives into content for the CEO's channels — adapting tone, format, and message to different contexts and audiences.
- Internal communications: Support the preparation of company-wide communications such as organizational announcements, all-hands materials, and key milestone moments. Shadow and contribute to Town Halls and other leadership-facing formats.
- Strategic cross-functional projects: Contribute to high-exposure, cross-functional initiatives alongside senior leadership — gaining direct visibility into how brand, strategy, and business decisions are made at the highest level.
WHO YOU ARE🪄
You won’t tick every box on day one — and that’s fine. What matters most is that you recognize yourself in the mindset below.
- Recent graduate (or graduating) from a top-tier university with a degree in Business, Economics, Management, Communications, or a related field.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both English and Italian. Additional languages (Spanish, French) are a strong plus.
- Genuine intellectual curiosity and a natural drive to understand how businesses work, not just the communications layer but the strategy, product, and commercial logic underneath.
- Comfortable operating in unstructured, fast-moving environments where priorities shift and ambiguity is the norm.
- Mature beyond your years in how you engage with senior stakeholders — confident enough to contribute, humble enough to listen and learn.
- A real interest in how technology is transforming retail and commerce — not a generic “I like tech”, but someone who follows how digital is reshaping the way people shop.
- Strong instinct for storytelling, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives.
- Proficiency with modern productivity and AI tools (Google Workspace, ChatGPT/Claude, or similar).
👉 At our company, we value diversity and actively encourage it — we believe a variety of perspectives and backgrounds makes us stronger. We focus on potential rather than on having a “perfect” CV. If this role excites you and you believe you could grow into it — even if you don’t tick every single box in the requirements — we’d love to hear from you!
WHY THIS ROLE 🎆
- Direct, daily exposure to the CEO and C-level executives of an international technology group.
- A front-row seat to how a post-merger integration unfolds across strategy, brand, product, and commercial functions.
- A company and leadership team genuinely invested in developing you for a long-term career — this role is designed as a launchpad, not a dead end.
- A fast-growing sector (retail media and digital commerce) where the most interesting questions in tech and consumer behaviour intersect.

TO FEEL AT HOME 🛋️ IN SHOPFULLY YOU NEED 🎯
- Progress Over Perfection: We move forward. Always. In a fast-moving world, speed with purpose beats certainty without action. Momentum matters—not for its own sake, but because it drives results.
- Clarity Through Transparency: We bring each other along. We work in teams, not silos. Transparency gives context, and context enables action. That means we share decisions early, publish work in progress, and document outcomes so others can learn, move faster, and build better.
- Learn Loudly: We grow by doing and by daring. Big bets unlock big breakthroughs. But real innovation demands risk, and risk always carries the possibility of failure. That’s not a flaw. It’s the price of ambition.
- Challenge with Empathy: We speak up, even when it’s hard—because candor shows care, and leads to better outcomes. Listening deeply is how we grow. Disagreeing openly is how we build trust.
- Always Build Better: We are builders—of products, systems, and ideas. But more than that, we are builders of better. Better has no finish line. It’s a mindset.
