This internship supports the communications and public affairs function by helping track and analyze policy, regulatory, and media developments across key markets. The role involves contributing to stakeholder engagement efforts, maintaining databases of key contacts, and assisting in the preparation of clear and effective internal and external communications. The intern will also monitor media coverage and public sentiment, providing insights to help the team anticipate risks and inform critical messaging.
- Conduct research and analysis on policy, regulatory, and legislative developments across key markets, summarizing implications for the business
- Support stakeholder mapping and engagement tracking, including building out our database of government officials, industry bodies, and strategic partners
- Assist in drafting internal and external communications, such as briefing notes, talking points, and background materials for meetings with policymakers and stakeholders
- Monitor media coverage and public sentiment related to the company and broader industry, providing regular summaries and identifying emerging issues or risks
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field.
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly and concisely.
- Curiosity about public policy, regulatory affairs, and media analysis. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with media monitoring tools is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
