Job Summary:
At Pace Center for Girls, we transform girls’ lives through education, counseling, training, and advocacy rooted in a gender-responsive, strength-based, and trauma-informed framework. The Communications Manager advances Pace’s voice, visibility, and influence through strategic storytelling, digital engagement, media support, and high-quality communications execution.
Salary: $76,500 - $85,000
Remote Position – Must reside in Florida or Georgia

What This Role Does:
Elevates the Pace Brand
- Manage communications calendars, campaigns, and content across internal and external channels.
- Ensure consistent use of Pace branding, tone, and messaging standards.
- Create compelling stories and content that build awareness and engagement.
Strengthens Strategic Communications
- Support organizational communications including announcements, newsletters, leadership messaging, and key initiatives.
- Translate complex topics into clear, audience-focused communications.
- Assist with issues management and crisis communications as needed.
Advances Visibility and Partnerships
- Support media outreach, public relations opportunities, and external visibility efforts.
- Manage agency, vendor, and creative partner relationships as assigned.
- Track results and recommend improvements based on communications performance metrics.
- Performs other duties as assigned
What We Require for the Job:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Five or more years of communications, marketing, public relations, or related experience.
- Strong writing, editing, and project management skills.
Preferred
- Experience in nonprofit, education, healthcare, or mission-driven organizations.
- Media relations and digital content experience.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
Other
- Expected to complete and participate in all required trainings and drills
