About Us?
The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.
The Strategy and Partnerships Business Area work collaboratively across IUIH, the IUIH Network partners and with other stakeholders to develop and progress strategic health and wellbeing priorities that deliver on our vision and purpose. The Strategy and Partnerships Business Area include IUIH’s strategic policy and organisational transformation functions, along with marketing and communication functions, and an innovative health-justice partnership arrangement through IUIH’s Legal Service (an accredited Community Legal Centre).
About the Role?
As Marketing and Communications Officer, your role is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and evaluation of marketing and communication activity and content creation in line with team and client objectives and the broader IUIH Strategic Plan.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Assist in developing, executing and evaluating comprehensive marketing and communications campaigns to promote the network's services and initiatives, including preventative health programs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand client needs and deliver tailored marketing and communications solutions.
- Develop internal and external content and resources, including brochures, digital content, and promotional materials in support of objectives and consumer needs.
- Use stakeholder input, market research and data analysis to identify target audiences and refine marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with clients and within the team (including across design and productions teams) to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging across all marketing activities.
About You?
- Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
- Current Criminal History Check
- Current Working with Children’s Check (Qld Blue Card)
Desirable, but not mandatory:
- Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and /or communities
- A minimum of three years marketing and communications experience.
