About the Role
The Marketing Coordinator will work cross-functionally within the divisions of Marketing to execute marketing plans, activations and special projects. The coordinator will also serve as a Santa Manager during November and December at Santa’s Hideaway Adventure.
Position Responsibilities
- Executes marketing plans and tactics for Ocean’s lines of business
- Supports activations, brand partnerships and brand events
- Performs purchase requisitions, invoice processing and accrual log maintenance
- Assist with special projects as assigned
- Coordinator will co-serve as a Santa Manager during the months of November and December yearly. Duties include:
- Oversee daily operations of the photo experience, including staffing and scheduling
- Ensure all team members (hosts, greeters, photographers) follow policies and maintain high service standards
- Monitor line flow, staffing needs, and guest interactions to ensure a positive and memorable experience
- Support and coach team members to uphold a joyful, inclusive atmosphere
- Resolve any guest concerns with professionalism and holiday cheer
- Manage inventory, supplies, and setup logistics
- Maintain established company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times.
- Answer phones according to established standards
- Book reservations utilizing the company reservation system
- Use of radios with headsets and earpieces for communication may be utilized in designated outlets
- Awareness of all activities happening at Ocean
- Knowledge of safety/guest liability procedures for guests and employees
Essential Functions
- Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke and excessive noise.
- Exposure to stressful situations related to servicing clients in a high pressure and fast paced environment
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
What’s Required
- Bachelors degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or other related disciplines
- 1-2 years experience in an entry level marketing role or internship
- Previous casino, hospitality or entertainment experience a plus
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Superior organizational skills
- Must have availability to work a flexible schedule in November and December including nights and weekends

*Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $50,000 annually.
