Job Description Summary
The APAC Communications Business Partner will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing integrated communications strategies for select markets across Asia Pacific. This role will lead the communications charter across a broad scope, including media relations, events, brand activation, stakeholder engagement, internal communications, digital and social media, and executive communications.
The successful candidate will serve as a trusted communications advisor to regional business leaders, helping advance business priorities, strengthen GE Vernova’s reputation, and drive visibility across key external and internal audiences. This individual will work in close partnership with the Asia Communications Leader, broader GE Vernova Communications teams, business stakeholders, and external agencies to deliver strategic, high-impact communications programs across the region.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communications Leadership
Develop and execute integrated communications strategies and plans aligned with business objectives, growth priorities, and reputation goals across select APAC markets.
Serve as a strategic communications advisor to senior leadership in the region, providing counsel on messaging, positioning, audience engagement, and communications approach.
Partner with business and functional leaders to distill complex priorities into clear, compelling messages for internal and external stakeholders.
Media Relations and Reputation Management
Lead proactive media relations efforts to position GE Vernova as a trusted industry leader across the region.
Build and sustain strong relationships with key media outlets and journalists to support brand visibility, business growth, and reputation enhancement.
Identify storytelling opportunities that strengthen GE Vernova’s share of voice and elevate the company’s profile in priority markets.
Content, Messaging, and Executive Communications
Develop and oversee the creation of high-quality communications content, including leadership briefings, speeches, talking points, case studies, articles, social media content, videos, podcasts, brochures, and infographics.
Support senior leaders with messaging and communications materials for external speaking engagements, internal forums, and stakeholder interactions.
Maintain editorial and content calendars to ensure consistent, timely, and impactful storytelling across channels.
Internal Communications and Employee Engagement
Support execution of internal communications plans that keep employees informed, aligned, and engaged with company strategy, priorities, and culture.
Partner with leadership, HR, and local management to support communications around employee engagement, culture, recognition, inclusion, and community-related initiatives.
Develop communications that foster connectivity, transparency, and a shared sense of purpose across teams and markets.
Digital, Social Media, and Brand Communications
Partner with the Asia Communications team to support and drive regional social media visibility, including leadership profiling, market storytelling, and amplification of key campaigns.
Help identify and activate digital opportunities across web and social channels to strengthen GE Vernova’s presence and engagement.
Support the implementation of regional brand rollouts, advertising, sponsorships, and related brand-building initiatives, ensuring alignment with global standards.
Events and Campaign Execution
Lead the communications strategy and execution for company-owned and sponsored events, ensuring alignment with business objectives and audience priorities.
Support the ideation and regional deployment of external and internal campaigns in partnership with the broader GE Vernova Communications team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across businesses and functions on marketing communications, digital initiatives, and demand-generation efforts where relevant.
Stakeholder and Agency Management
Build strong partnerships across business units, functional teams, and regional/global communications stakeholders to ensure aligned and effective communications execution.
Manage external agencies and consultants, including PR, event management, and creative partners, to deliver high-quality outcomes against agreed objectives.
Ensure seamless coordination across stakeholders in multiple markets and functions.
Measurement and Continuous Improvement
Develop and track qualitative and quantitative metrics to assess communications effectiveness and impact.
Analyze campaign and channel performance, provide insights to stakeholders, and recommend adjustments to optimize outcomes.
Continuously explore new channels, formats, and creative approaches to improve engagement and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Media, or a related field.
Minimum 15 years of relevant communications experience, including media relations, public relations, corporate communications, or public affairs.
Strong preference for candidates with experience in a multinational corporate environment and/or a PR agency supporting major blue-chip clients.
Demonstrated experience managing communications across multiple markets or at a regional level.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in an additional local or regional language is an advantage.
