HEAD OF MARKETING
The Head of Marketing has overall responsibility for the strategic development and execution of marketing initiatives across Stansfeld Scott (Barbados) Ltd, Armstrong Agencies and H. Jason Jones Ltd.
This senior leadership role is responsible for driving brand growth, strengthening supplier partnerships and ensuring alignment between marketing strategies and overall business objectives. The successful candidate will also lead and develop a team of Brand Managers, fostering a high-performance culture across all companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy aligned with company targets and growth objectives
- Lead the development and delivery of annual marketing plans across all categories and channels
- Full accountability for marketing budget performance across all portfolios and companies, ensuring effective investment, strong return on marketing spend and cost control in line with financial targets.
- Drive performance of key brands to maximise market share, profitability and brand equity
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance and other departments to ensure alignment and effective execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and brand principals, leading strategic engagements
- Provide leadership, coaching and performance management to Marketing/Commercial Managers
- Analyse market trends, consumer insights and competitor activity to inform strategy
- Ensure consistent brand standards, governance and best practice across all marketing activities
Requirements
- 8 - 10+ years commercial experience within FMCG with at least three (3) years at a managerial level including P&L ownership
- Strong people leadership capability, with experience managing and developing commercial or brand management roles
- Demonstrated success in supplier and brand owner relationship management
- Advanced financial, analytical and forecasting skills
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, confident engaging with senior stakeholders
- Master’s degree in marketing or a related field preferred
