OverviewThe marketing coordinator demonstrates excellent customer service performance in that his/her attitude and actions are at all times consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission and Values of Covenant and the commitment to Extraordinary Care for Every Generation. This individual is responsible for sales of Occupational Health services to the business community. Establishes relationships with new client companies, as well as maintains strong relationships with current client companies. Provides ongoing assessment of client company satisfaction. Responsible for increasing number of client companies, patient volumes and revenue.
ResponsibilitiesDemonstrates excellent customer service.
Contributes to organization success targets for patient satisfaction and net operating margin
Develops and implements marketing plan to support strategic plans of Occupational Medicine. Includes measurable goals and objectives.
Networks in business community and represents Covenant Occupational Health at functions, such as: Chamber of Commerce, and other community related events.
Establishes new customers. Includes telephone prospecting, cold calling and client sales referrals
Develops and implements service plan for new customers based on assessment of companies' occupational health needs
Acquires and maintains knowledge of occupational health issues
Visits current client companies and evaluates needs on ongoing basis
Monitors client company satisfaction
Develops and maintains database of marketing information
Plans, develops and implements educational workshops, conferences and seminars
Assists in development of promotional materials
QualificationsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare
3-5 years experience in Marketing/Sales. Healthcare experience preferred, with emphasis in occupational medicine.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Have working Knowledge of MIOSHA, NIOSH and DOT regulations along with an understanding of the State of Michigan workers compensation laws.
Ability to work independently, with good organizational and problem solving skills with high level of initiative and motivation. Two year minimum PC based computer skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in professional manner, verbally and written. Demonstrate ability to meet/exceed sales goals.
