Position Overview
Hab+Dash by Fil-Tec is seeking a Brand & Market Development Manager to drive growth across key segments of the sewing and needlecraft industry. This role blends relationship management, brand marketing, and business development to expand market presence and strengthen industry partnerships.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, relationship-driven professional who can connect market insights to business opportunities and help bring brand and product initiatives to life.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management & Partnerships
Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and key partners
Serve as a primary point of contact for select accounts
Develop connections with designers, educators, and industry influencers
Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities
Brand & Market Growth
Expand brand presence across priority retail channels in the U.S. and internationally
Identify growth opportunities across existing and emerging markets
Support onboarding and long-term development of retail accounts
Marketing & Brand Support
Collaborate with internal teams to execute marketing programs that drive brand visibility and sell-through
Support campaigns, merchandising initiatives, and educational efforts
Help position the brand within target communities
Product Development Support
Contribute to the development of product programs, kits, and retail offerings
Partner with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to market
Use market feedback and insights to inform product direction
Business Performance
Support pricing strategies, promotions, and retail programs
Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
Assist with forecasting and inventory planning
Industry Engagement
Represent the brand at trade shows and industry events
Build relationships and stay informed on market trends
QualificationsQualifications
Required
Some experience in Commercial sales and Marketing
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strategic thinker with strong execution skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Background in sewing, quilting, embroidery, or related industries
Existing relationships within retail, distribution, or creative communities
Willingness to travel
