Every B2B SaaS company is now an "AI company." Demos look the same. Landing pages look the same. The category is collapsing into a sea of identical aesthetics, identical claims, and identical product screenshots.
In that environment, we believe brand is the moat. The companies that win the next five years won't be the ones with the best AI features. They'll be the ones whose brand is so distinct, so consistently expressed, and so confident in its point of view that buyers remember them before they remember their feature list.
That's the job.
You'll own the visual identity, design system, and creative output at Askable. You'll evolve the brand from competent and clean to differentiated and unmistakable. And you'll do it leaning hard into AI as a creative force multiplier, not as a content factory.

π What youβll do
Lead the brand
Take full ownership of the Askable brand and where it goes next
Evolve the visual identity, typography, color, illustration, photography direction, and overall aesthetic point of view
Build and maintain a cohesive brand system across web, product marketing, social, events, and beyond
Push the brand forward, not just maintain it
Lead the design system
Build the component library, templates, and usage guidelines that let other teams produce consistent, on-brand work without a designer in every loop
Set the quality bar for all external-facing work
Make the system the leverage that scales our output as we grow
Lead AI-augmented creative workflows
Set the standard for how our team uses tools like Midjourney, Runway, Sora, Figma AI, and others to scale creative output without losing craft
Define what we make ourselves, what we generate, what we systemise, and what we outsource
Treat AI as a creative force multiplier
Bring the product to life
Create product visuals, demos, and videos that clearly communicate value
Translate complex features into simple, compelling visual stories
Elevate how we present launches, updates, and new capabilities
Own key moments
Lead creative for hero campaigns, the website, and major launches
Direct motion, video, event design, and global campaign production through external partners and contractors
Make sure everything we ship reflects the level of the product
Partner across the business
Work closely with marketing, product, and sales to raise the bar on every external-facing surface
Direct externals and contractors as our roster grows
Contribute to how we tell our story globally

Who you are
6+ years in brand or visual design, with at least 2 years in a senior role at a B2B SaaS company in scale-up mode. Bonus if you've shipped a full brand evolution.
A portfolio that shows craft and a point of view. We're not looking for safe. We're looking for distinct.
A senior IC with leadership instincts. You can personally ship the brand work that matters most, and you know how to use systems, AI, and external partners to scale everything else. You've seen a design function grow around you and you're ready to be the one building it.
Genuinely AI-native in your workflow. Not "I tried Midjourney once." We want to see work where AI was integrated into the creative process, examples of how you've cut production time, and an opinion on where AI helps versus where it flattens.
Strong design systems thinking. You've built or substantially evolved a system that scaled across a team.
Range across formats: web, motion, social, event, brand campaigns. You don't have to be world-class at all of them, but you can direct all of them.
A clear view on what makes B2B brand stand out. You can articulate why certain B2B brands break through and what makes the rest forgettable.
Comfortable working closely with product and understanding how things work.
Direct, collaborative, and an owner. You can defend a creative direction, take a strong note, and move fast.
Bonus
Motion design, 3D, or video direction experience
Worked in research, insights, AI, or developer tools categories
Built creator or influencer content systems
Experience working with founders or executives on personal brand visual identity
