This role will lead the development and execution of integrated, culture-first PR strategies that drive brand relevance and earned impact for brands like Yasso, Talenti, Magnum, Popsicle and Breyers. As a key connector across channels, this person will translate brand priorities into timely, newsworthy moments that break through and extend into broader cultural conversation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and translate cultural trends, insights and emerging conversations into proactive PR opportunities and storytelling angles
- · Plan and execute press-worthy moments including product launches, partnerships, events and brand announcements
- · Monitor media landscape, competitive activity and cultural trends to inform PR strategy and identify whitespace opportunities
- · Track, analyze and report on earned media performance, shifting focus from volume to quality, cultural relevance and share of conversation
- · Develop PR materials including messaging frameworks, press releases, media pitches, executive talking points and FAQs
- · Partner closely with influencer and organic social teams to ensure PR moments extend seamlessly across ecosystems
- · Manage agency partners and cross-functional collaborators to ensure best-in-class execution and alignment
- · Partner with corporate communications on issues management as needed
- · Support high-impact campaigns and initiatives across the portfolio, ensuring consistency and strategic integration across touchpoints
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Skills, Experiences & Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in public relations, preferably within consumer, lifestyle,foodor CPG brands (agency experience a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in PR, communications,marketingor related field
- Strong media instincts with a proven ability toidentifywhat makes a story newsworthy and culturally relevant
- Demonstrated experience executing successful PR campaigns that drive earned media coverage and social conversation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messaging
- Deep understanding of the evolving media landscape, including digital, social and creator ecosystems
- Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and translate insights into action
- Proactive, creative thinker with a pulse on culture and emerging trends

Pay: The pay range for this position is $88,600 to$133,000.The Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC)takes into consideration a wide range of factors that areutilizedin making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
